How to Draw Hair Buns

How to Draw Hair Buns
- Draw the outline of the head.
To indicate the size and shape of the head, you need to draw one oval using a curved line, as shown in the picture.
- Add the ears and symmetry lines.
Inside the previously drawn oval, draw a straight vertical line and an arc crossing it. On the right and left sides of the oval, draw the ears using curved lines.
- Depict the hairline above the forehead.
At the top of the oval you have drawn, draw one arc, as well as two curved lines of different lengths on the sides of it.
- Sketch out the hair at the top of the head.
Outline the hairstyle at the top of the head using two symmetrical lines of the same length as shown.
- Add the guidelines.
In the form of two oval-shaped figures located at the top of the head, indicate the size and location of the hair buns.
- Sketch out the bangs.
On the sides of the face, draw four separate strands of hair hanging down, using curved lines of different lengths, as shown in the picture.
- Finish drawing the top part of the hairstyle.
Refine the outline of the top of the hairstyle and complete the buns using arcs and curved lines of varying lengths.
- Finish drawing the bangs.
Inside the previously drawn strands of hair, draw many curved, broken lines to depict the smaller, pointed strands.
- Draw the hairline and make the hairstyle more voluminous.
Add curved lines of different lengths near the hair buns, draw a parting line on the head, add short lines to the bangs.
- Refine the contour of the face.
Use curved lines of different lengths to draw a clearer outline of the oval of the face and ears, as shown in the figure.
- Remove extra lines from the drawing.
Use the eraser to remove unnecessary guidelines and prepare the drawing for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
Use any color to paint the skin, and use different shades of brown to make the hairstyle voluminous.
