How to Draw Anna from Frozen

If you like to draw popular characters, then you will definitely like this tutorial on how to draw Anna from Frozen.
She is a brave, smart and optimistic girl. Sometimes she is short-tempered, stubborn, and impulsive.
In the drawing, Anna hid her hands behind her back, put her feet together and tilted her head slightly. Try to correctly depict this position of the body.
If all the art materials are already at hand, then you can start the step-by-step drawing tutorial.
Step 1: Build the basic Anna figure guidelines
Sketch an oval for Anna’s head, then add rounded shapes for the chest and pelvis. Connect these forms with a vertical centerline that follows the slight curve of the Frozen character’s pose.

Step 2: Sketch Anna’s arms and legs
Indicate the arms and legs with straight construction lines. Mark the shoulders, elbows, knees, and other joints with large dots to establish the position of Anna’s limbs.

Step 3: Outline Anna’s head and braided hair
Refine the oval of Anna’s face and outline the hair above the forehead. Add the outer shape of the hairstyle, then draw the two long braids hanging beside her head.

Step 4: Draw Anna’s facial features
Inside the face outline, draw the large eyes with curved upper lids and small pupils. Add the eyebrows, short nose, and smiling mouth to complete Anna’s expression.

Step 5: Add Anna’s cape and bodice
Use smooth lines to outline the cape across Anna’s shoulders. Draw the neckline and fitted sides of the bodice, then add the curved decorative shape at the waist.

Step 6: Draw Anna’s long dress
Extend two flowing lines downward from the waist to form the sides of the skirt. Connect them with an uneven hemline, then add several long folds across Anna’s dress.

Step 7: Outline the first arm and cape panel
Build the first arm around its guideline, giving the sleeve a natural width. Shape the small hand at the end, then extend the outer edge of Anna’s cape beside the arm.

Step 8: Complete Anna’s second arm and cape
Outline the second sleeve around the remaining arm guideline. Add the opposite edge of the cape and connect it smoothly to the shoulder.

Step 9: Draw Anna’s boots below the skirt
Outline the narrow lower legs beneath the hem of the dress. Add the two boots close together, turning their pointed toes slightly outward in opposite directions.

Step 10: Refine the Anna line drawing
Erase the body centerline, limb guides, joint markers, and overlapping construction shapes. Restore the final edges of Anna’s hair, cape, dress, arms, and boots after removing the extra lines.

Step 11: Color the Anna from Frozen drawing
Color Anna’s skin light beige and her hair reddish brown. Use magenta and dark purple for the cape, black and blue for the bodice and skirt, and brown for the boots.
