How to Draw a Blazer
- Draw the main outlines.
Determine the size of your drawing and with the help of smooth lines depict the main part of the blazer, add the sleeves on the sides.
- Depict the collar.
Start detailing the blazer and in this step draw the collar in the same shape as in our example.
- Make the top more clear and expressive.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and sharpen the contour of the shoulders and the side contours of the blazer.
- Add the bottom of the blazer.
Continue the lines and depict the lower sides of the blazer. Using curved lines draw the bottom outline and add the pockets.
- Make the contours of the sleeves clearer.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and carefully trace the sleeves along the contour, giving them the desired shape.
- Sketch out the front of the blazer.
Draw a smooth connecting line from the collar to the bottom of the blazer. Draw two buttons.
- Draw the rest of the elements.
Depict the small chest pocket, add a short line on the collar and draw the bottom outline of the blazer.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Take a close look at your drawing and if you notice any mistakes, correct them at this stage. Remove all extra lines in your drawing.
- Color the drawing.
You will need two shades of gray. With a light shade, color the main part and with a dark shade, paint the inside of the blazer.
