How to Draw a Camel
Both the team of Easydrawingart.com and our readers are very fond of drawing animals, and therefore today we want to teach you how to draw a camel. We will draw a one-humped camel, but this instruction is also applicable for portraying its two-humped fellow.
Step 1
Let’s start drawing a camel from its skeleton. First, depict the round head, then the oval thorax and pelvis. After that, connect them with the line of the spine and depict the limbs.
Step 2
Using a U-shaped line, portray the muzzle. Then depict the ear and use a long arcuate line to depict the bottom of the neck.
Step 3
Let’s now add volume to the forelimbs. Depict the contours of the legs, do not forgetting about the joints and hooves, as in the example from the artists of Easydrawingart.com.
Step 4
Now, with the help of an arcuate line, depict the belly, and with another line, depict the back with a hump, the line of which smoothly passes into the tail.
Step 6
Now let’s deal with the rear limbs. Depict the rear limbs, as the artists of Easydrawingart.com did in the image below these words.
Step 7
Now put the pencil aside and take an eraser to clear the animal sketch from the auxiliary strokes and lines. Darken all necessary lines to achieve greater sharpness.
Step 8
Now let’s make some finishing touches, and to be more precise, we will portray the face. It is not difficult, just repeat everything as in the example from the artists of Easydrawingart.com.
Step 9
Now, take the eraser again to wipe off all the remaining auxiliary strokes from the whole artwork to make it clear and sharp.
Step 10
Now take the sand color and use it to paint the camel, as the artists of Easydrawingart.com did in the painting lower. You can also create shadows to make the camel painting more voluminous and aesthetic.
