How to Draw Green Lantern

In this step-by-step guide, the EasyDrawingart.com team will show you how to draw Green Lantern. This is a superhero, one of the fictional characters of the DC Comics universe.
The Green Lantern can create a matter of various densities, transmit thoughts at a distance, be invisible, travel in time, overcome any obstacles and fly quickly.
The Green Lantern uses its magic forces with the help of a ring and has a lantern with it, from which it recharges this ring.
The Green Lantern is dressed in a tight-fitting suit, there are gloves on the hands and there is a green mask on the face.
Step 1: Sketch Green Lantern’s body
Begin by sketching the body with simple shapes for the head, chest, and pelvis. Connect them with a smooth center line to create the superhero’s basic skeleton.

Step 2: Add the DC hero’s limbs
Use thin lines to sketch the arms and draw the legs. Mark the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees with rounded shapes.

Step 3: Detail Green Lantern’s head
Use the guidelines to outline the head and refine the face shape. Add the ears on both sides, then draw the short curved strands of hair.

Step 4: Draw the masked hero’s face
Draw the male face by adding the eyes, nose, and mouth. Then outline Green Lantern’s mask with smooth lines around the eyes and upper cheeks.

Step 5: Outline Green Lantern’s torso
Draw the neck and shoulders, then outline the torso. Add the chest and abdominal muscles and finish the center with the round Green Lantern emblem.

Step 6: Sketch the ring-bearing arm
Shape the first arm around the construction line, then draw the hand as a clenched fist. Add Green Lantern’s power ring to one finger.

Step 7: Draw the second superhero arm
Use the remaining guide to shape the second arm and give it the correct thickness. Draw the clenched fist of Green Lantern at the end and add several short folds around the wrist.

Step 8: Add Green Lantern’s first leg
Shape the first leg around the guideline, narrowing it toward the knee. Add the visible muscle contours and several raised folds across the thigh and knee area.

Step 9: Draw the first Green Lantern boot
Continue the first leg downward and draw the high boot. Define the top edge, ankle, heel, and toe to complete the lower leg.

Step 10: Sketch the second DC hero leg
Outline the second leg around the remaining guide and give it the proper thickness. Add the visible contours of the thigh and knee muscles beneath the fitted suit.

Step 11: Add the second superhero boot
Complete the lower part of the second leg by drawing the high boot. Turn the toe slightly to the side and define the ankle, heel, and upper edge.

Step 12: Detail Green Lantern’s costume
Add the remaining costume lines across the chest and sides of the body. Draw the curved boundaries between the green and dark sections of the suit of Green Lantern.

Step 13: Clean up the comic hero drawing
Erase the construction lines and correct any uneven body contours or costume details. Darken the final outlines of Green Lantern’s face, suit, emblem, limbs, and boots.

Step 14: Color the Green Lantern drawing
Color the skin light beige and the hair brown, or use any other color, if you are drawing another version of the superhero. Use bright green, dark gray, and blue for the costume and boots.

Your Green Lantern drawing is complete. Continue working with DC characters by drawing the Flash in another full-body pose.
