How to Draw an Easter Bunny
- Prepare the base.
Determine the size of your drawing and draw circles that are located next to each other. This way you will mark the main parts of the head.
- Draw the outlines of the ears and torso.
At the top, draw two smooth lines to indicate the position of the ears, and at the bottom, draw two oval shapes that are located side by side.
- Depict the outline of the basket.
With the help of smooth lines draw the main part of the basket and at the top add the outline of the handle with a single curved line.
- Sketch out the eyes.
On the top circle draw two oval-shaped eyes and add the eyelashes. Note that the eyes are set far apart.
- Add the rest of the outlines of the head.
Make the upper outline of the head clearer and use curved lines to depict the sides of the head.
- Draw the ears.
Use the guidelines as a guide and give the ears the desired shape. Draw the outline of the inside of the ear.
- Depict the front of the muzzle.
Continue the lines and add the bottom outline of the muzzle. Using a curved line, depict the nose and mouth.
- Add the front paws.
From the head, draw curved lines to the sides and depict the lower parts of the front paws, add the fingers using short strokes.
- Sketch out the torso.
On each side, draw a curved line to indicate the lateral contours of the torso, while focusing on the auxiliary lines.
- Draw the back paw.
Continue adding the outlines of the bunny body and now depict the half-bent hind leg using smooth, curved lines.
- Depict the basket.
Use the lines you drew earlier as a guide and make the outline of the basket clearer. Give the handle the required thickness.
- Sketch out the eggs.
Now you have to draw some eggs that are in the basket. First you can draw the eggs in the foreground, and then all the rest.
- Add details.
On the face of the bunny, draw the long mustache on each side and, using short strokes, depict the fluffy fur on all parts of the body.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Now carefully look at the drawing and if you notice mistakes, then immediately correct them. Carefully remove all unnecessary lines.
- Color the drawing.
Color the bunny fur in gray, color the basket in brown. Use bright colors for coloring eggs. Don’t forget to highlight the dark areas.
