How to Draw a Star

In this instruction, the team of Easydrawingart.com will show you how to draw a star. This instruction will be one of the easiest on our site. We often draw stars as part of different artworks, but they do not always turn out to be smooth and beautiful. In this instruction, we want to show the most important points and tips that will be important when drawing a star.

So, you need a pencil and paper, or a graphics tablet in order to start drawing. If your art supplies are ready, then let’s get started!

 

Step 1

First, depict a long straight diagonal line. For ease of creating the artwork, you can use a ruler. Try to repeat the angle of inclination as in our example.

Step 2

Now depict another line, which will be an exact mirror copy of the line from the first stage. Here, our star is a bit like a pyramid.

Step 3

So, depict another straight line (yes, this guide consists of straight lines only) which starts at the end of the line from the second stage and crosses the line depicted in the stage number one.

Step 4

Continuing the line from the third stage, depict a straight horizontal line as did the artists of Easydrawingart.com in the figure below.

Step 5

Now we finish sketching a star by connecting the lines from the fourth and first stages. To check the proportionality of the artwork, look at it through the mirror, and all the problems in the proportions will be noticeable.

Step 6

Now put down the pencil and pick up an eraser. Using this simple tool, wipe off all guidelines from your star drawing. You can make the star artwork sharper and darker by tracing it with a darker pencil or ink.

Step 7
