How to Draw a Fox
In this drawing guide we will show you how to draw a fox. With this tutorial we continue a series of drawing lessons about animals.
Step 1
Firstly we will outline the contours of the body of our fox. You can pay attention to the very close location of the head and chest.
Step 2
Almost all the elements of this step are formed by triangles. On the head are two triangles. Inside the head is also a triangle and a pair of small ovals. The sizes of the figures that indicate the ears and eyes should be different because of the angle.
Step 3
Add new lines on the back and on the section between the rounded shapes from the first step. After that, draw the front legs that should look graceful and strong at the same time.
Step 4
So we depict a large magnificent tail. The tail should be no less wide than the narrowest part of the body. Also draw the hind legs. The paw farthest from us forms a right angle and the paw closest to us forms an obtuse angle.
Step 5
Let’s add some details to the face of our fox. Depict the auricles. Draw a nose and lines that separate the upper and lower jaws. Using the dotted line, we outline the contours of the white part of the fur.
Step 6
You wouldn’t have problems in this step if you drew the previous step correctly. Here we will erase the extra guide lines from the face of our fox and draw the final features.
Step 7
So we repeat the steps from the previous step with the body of a fox. We evaluate the whole picture and look for errors. In this step, you need to fix all the inaccuracies that you can find in your fox.
Step 8
Use the orange color to make our fox more alive. If you are drawing a polar fox, you should use shades of light blue or light gray.
