How to Draw Sokka

Sokka has leadership qualities. Through regular training, Sokka became a sword master and a great warrior like his father.
In the process of drawing, keep proportions and try to correctly depict the position of the body of a young warrior.
Step 1: Build the basic Sokka figure
Sketch the head, chest, and pelvis as simple shapes of different sizes. Connect them with a gently curved centerline that follows the direction of Sokka’s torso from the neck to the hips.
Step 2: Sketch Sokka’s arms and legs
Extend thin lines from the shoulders and pelvis to mark the arms and legs. Place small circles at the elbows and knees, then add simple shapes for the hands and feet at the ends.
Step 3: Outline Sokka’s head and hairstyle
Refine the face with a curved jawline and a short chin, then outline the ear on the side. Draw the hairline across the forehead, shape the topknot, and add the small strand behind the head.
Step 4: Draw Sokka’s facial features
Place the eyes beneath the brow line and shape them with short curved strokes. Draw the eyebrows, add the small nose with a few lines, and form the mouth with a curved upper edge and lower lip.
Step 5: Outline Sokka’s tunic and boomerang
Draw the neck below the head, then outline the shoulders and the upper edges of the tunic. Add the diagonal clothing lines across the chest, a few folds near the waist, and the boomerang behind his back.
Step 6: Draw Sokka’s raised arm and weapon
Outline the raised sleeve around the guideline, then narrow the shape toward the wrist. Draw the clenched fist around the handle and extend the weapon upward with long straight edges and a pointed end.
Step 7: Draw Sokka’s second arm and hand

Continue the tunic below the belt with long flowing lines that curve near the ends. Connect the folds to the waist and shape the split fabric so it hangs around the legs.
Step 9: Draw Sokka’s first leg and boot
Build the leg around the construction line, gradually widening it toward the thigh before narrowing it at the ankle. Draw the tall boot around the foot and add the bands across the knee and ankle of Sokka.
Step 10: Complete Sokka’s second leg
Repeat the same process on the opposite side by outlining the second leg around the guideline. Match the boot height and shape. Finish the ankle and knee bands.
Step 11: Clean up the Sokka drawing
Erase every construction line that is still visible and keep only the final outlines. Smooth any uneven edges and reconnect interrupted contours so the line art looks clean and continuous.
Step 12: Color the Sokka drawing
Color Sokka’s skin with a light beige tone and fill the hair with dark brown. Use several shades of blue for the clothing, add brown to the boots and weapon, and finish with darker accents in the folds.
