How to Draw Eyes Looking Up

How to Draw Eyes Looking Up
- Draw an auxiliary line.
Determine the location of the eyes and carefully draw a horizontal, slightly curved line. This line should be very thin so that you can easily remove it later.
- Depict the outline of the eyes.
Draw two eyes at some distance from each other. At this angle, the eyes have the shape of semicircles.
- Add another auxiliary line.
A little higher, draw another smooth line, just as you did in the first step. With this line you will determine the location of the eyebrows.
- Sketch out the eyebrows.
Depict eyebrows of the same shape as in our example. Use the line you drew in the previous step as a guide.
- Draw the eyelids.
Depict smooth lines at the top and bottom of the eye to represent the upper and lower eyelids. Make sure that the folds on the eyelids are symmetrical.
- Add the iris and pupils.
Continue adding details and at the top of each eye draw the iris and pupil which are oval-shaped.
- Draw the eyelashes.
On the upper and lower eyelids, successively draw short, curved strokes to represent the eyelashes. Be careful and consider the direction of the eyelash growth.
- Depict the bridge of the nose.
Between the eyes, draw short, thin strokes to represent the top of the nose, while maintaining symmetry.
- Make the eye contour clearer.
Outline the outer contour of the eyes using the lines you drew in the previous steps. Then highlight the corners of the eyes.
- Make the inner parts of the eyes more defined.
Carefully outline the iris and pupil trace the outline using the same lines that you drew earlier.
- Define the eyebrows.
Continue to sharpen the drawing and in this step outline the eyebrows and highlight individual hairs to give the drawing a more realistic look.
- Make the eyelashes more lush.
Now you will detail the eyelashes and on top of the lines you drew earlier, add many short, curved strokes.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Compare your drawing with our example and if you notice any mistakes, correct them at this stage. Prepare your drawing for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring the skin and eyebrows, use any natural shades. Color the iris blue and the pupil black.
