How to Draw a Snake Face
- Prepare the base.
Determine the size and location of your drawing and draw the outline of the head. At the initial stage, use only thin lines.
- Detail the top of the head.
Make the upper contour clearer and depict the brow ridges on the sides with the help of smooth curved lines.
- Draw the eyes.
Add two oval-shaped eyes on the sides of the head. Draw vertical pupils in the middle of the eyes.
- Depict the front of the muzzle.
With the help of two jagged lines draw the outline of the front of the head and the outline of the upper jaw.
- Add the side contours of the muzzle.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and make the contours on the sides clearer. In this case, use uneven wavy lines.
- Sketch out the tongue.
Draw the long tongue in the middle of the mouth, the end of which is forked. Be careful and keep proportions.
- Draw the bottom of the muzzle.
With the help of several smooth lines depict the inner contour of the mouth. At the bottom, draw the outline of the chin.
- Add the rest of the outlines.
With the help of smooth lines, make the sides of the head and upper body more clear and expressive.

Using lines of different sizes and shapes, draw the lot of scales on the front of the muzzle.
- Detail the top of the head.
Use short, curved strokes and draw many scales on the top of the snake’s face.

- Correct inaccuracies.

- Color the drawing.
Color the eyes orange, color the tongue pink. To paint the scales, use different shades of yellow and green.
