How to Draw a Pit Bull

The Pit Bull has a short, smooth coat that comes in many different colors. It has a powerful, muscular build, a broad chest, and a large, wedge-shaped head.
Try to accurately capture all of these characteristic features in your drawing.

How to Draw a Pitbull
- Prepare baselines.
Draw the main parts of the dog’s body in the form of rounded shapes. Draw a smooth connecting line and mark the position of the tail.
- Add the limbs.
Using a few thin lines, mark the position of the front and hind limbs. Mark the places of the folds in the form of large dots.
- Detail the head.
Begin to give the body of the dog the desired shape and in this step draw the head, taking into account all the features of this breed. Draw the short ears, eye, nose and the wide mouth.
- Draw the outlines of the body.
Use the guidelines as a guide and draw the wide neck, back, chest, belly and give the tail the desired thickness.
- Depict the front paws.
Continue drawing the outlines of the body and use smooth, curved lines to add shape and thickness to the paws. Draw the fingers below.
- Sketch out the hind legs.
Depict the back of the body, which smoothly passes into the hind legs. At the bottom of the paws, add the toes.
- Add details.
On the dog’s body, draw short, thin strokes to depict the natural relief and make the drawing realistic.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Compare the drawing with our example and if you notice mistakes, then carefully correct them. Remove the auxiliary lines, now they are not needed.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring fur, you can use any shades of brown and gray. Color the eye black, the inside of the ear and mouth pink.
