After the release of the cartoon, the minion became easily recognizable and numerous souvenirs and toys appeared in the image of this hero. Perhaps you have repeatedly come across the image of a minion on clothes or on any children’s products.
The main task of the minions was to serve evil and destruction, but they also have good qualities, for example, in case of danger, they are ready to come to the rescue of each other. Minions have their own language, which resembles muttering.
This sounds very funny. The body of the minion is yellow, the limbs are black, and the minion is traditionally dressed in a blue jumpsuit. So, now you will draw a minion using a simple instruction in which each step is described in detail.

How to Draw a Minion
- Draw the main outline.
First, draw an oval-shaped figure, with the top part convex and the bottom part flatter.
- Depict the eyes.
This step will require special attention from you, because you need to observe symmetry. First draw the outer outline, then add the iris and pupils.
- Sketch out the glasses.
Depict smooth rounded lines around the eyes, then add small fastenings on each side.
- Add the hair and mouth.
In this step you should draw some smooth thin lines. Draw the mouth and draw two strands of hair on the crown pointing in different directions.
- Depict the jumpsuit.
Draw a wide front part of the jumpsuit, add the pocket in the center, and draw straps with buttons on the sides.
- Sketch out the arms.
On the sides, draw smooth, curved lines to depict arms that fit snugly against the torso.
- Add the hands.
The minion’s hands are clenched into fists. Take your time during this step and try to maintain symmetry.
- Draw the legs.
The minion has surprisingly short legs relative to the entire torso. At the very bottom, draw the small shoes.
- Depict the emblem on the pocket.
When the jumpsuit is ready, you can draw a small emblem on the pocket. Draw a circle and draw the same figure inside as in the example.
- Correct the inaccuracies.
Now compare your drawing with our example, remove any extra lines and correct the mistakes if necessary.
- Color the minion.
Primary colors are bright yellow and blue. Additionally, you will need gray, black, and brown. We recommend adding shadows on some parts of the body.
