How to Draw a Frog Face
- Draw the base.
Depict an oval to determine the size of the drawing. At first, use only thin, barely noticeable lines, and in subsequent steps, give clarity and expressiveness to the drawing.
- Mark up.
Depict a vertical line to mark the center of the drawing and draw a horizontal line at the top to help you position the eyes correctly.
- Depict the outlines of the eyes.
Focus on the guidelines and draw the outline of the eyes using curved lines. Be careful and observe symmetry.
- Add the elements of the top of the head.
Make the contour between the eyes clearer. Add the sides of the head, outline the mouth and draw the small nostrils.
- Sketch out the bottom of the head.
In this step, continue the side lines and depict the rest of the head, which gradually tapers towards the bottom.
- Draw the outline of the torso.
On the sides, carefully draw smooth, curved lines to depict the outline of the upper torso.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Now all the contours are ready, and you can remove the auxiliary lines in the drawing. Do this carefully, so you don’t accidentally delete important lines.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring, you will need different shades of green and yellow. Color the pupils black and don’t forget to add the highlights.
