How to Draw a Bear Face
- Prepare the base.
Using thin lines, outline the contour of the head in the form of a circle. Designate the front part of the muzzle in the form of an oval.
- Draw the eyes.
Just below the middle of the head, draw two small eyes. Keep proportions in mind when doing this step.
- Detail the bottom of the muzzle.
Focus on the auxiliary lines that you drew in the first step and make the lower contour of the muzzle clearer.
- Depict the nose and mouth.
At the bottom of the muzzle draw the nose of the same shape as in our example. With the help of one smooth line depict the mouth.
- Sketch out the outline of the head.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and make the outline of the head clearer. With smooth lines, add the folds on the forehead and sides of the muzzle.
- Add the ears.
With the help of semicircular lines draw the outer contour of the ears and immediately add the inner part of the ears.
- Draw the outline of the body.
With the help of jagged lines draw the outline of the upper body. Add some folds on the neck.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Now take a close look at the drawing and correct the mistakes if necessary. Carefully remove all extra lines.
- Color the drawing.
You will need different shades of brown, as well as black. Select the dark areas to make the bear’s head look more realistic.
