How to Draw a Budgie

How to Draw a Budgie
- Draw the main outlines.
Depict a circle to represent the position of the head and draw a large oval to represent the rest of the body. At the initial stage, use only thin lines.
- Determine the position of the rest of the body.
With the help of thin smooth lines draw the outline of the wing, tail and paws. Be careful at this stage and keep all proportions.
- Detail the head.
Trace the head along the contour, giving it the desired shape. Draw the plumage at the bottom with a wavy line. Draw two eyes and in the middle draw the pointed beak.
- Make the outline of the body clearer.
Use the lines you drew earlier as a guide and carefully outline the body of the budgie along the outline. This way you will depict the back, thoracic region and belly.
- Detail the wing.
Carefully trace the wing along the contour, giving it the desired shape. Draw the feathers on the wing, while paying attention to their size and shape.
- Sketch out the tail.
Use smooth, clear lines and trace the tail along the contour. With the help of longitudinal lines depict individual feathers.
- Depict the paws and branch.
In this step, detail the lower body. Draw the upper lower part of the paws, add the sharp claws at the bottom. Draw smooth lines to depict the branch on which the budgie sits.
- Detail the color.
On the head and wings of the budgie, draw several elements of different shapes to indicate the colorful spots on the plumage.
- Correct inaccuracies.

- Color the drawing.
