How to Draw Kermit the Frog
In this drawing lesson we will tell you how to draw Kermit the Frog. In fact, we really love memes and so we decided to work with this famous frog.
Step 1
Firstly we draw two ovals that should be located in the center of the sheet. It should look like a snowman with his head extended horizontally.
Step 2
Now let’s draw the eyes of this beautiful frog. You may notice one very convenient pattern. The pupils of our hero are in line with the upper border of the head.
Step 3
In this step we will work with the circuits of the mouth. It is formed by two smooth lines of different sizes. Here is a very important feature that you should pay attention to. The mouth is located at the very bottom of the head of our frog near the lower edge.
Step 4
Draw a small scalloped collar. It covers a little less than half of the body.
Step 5
Kermit’s hands look like long slender figures like spaghetti. Let’s portray this.
Step 6
Kermit the frog is known for its pose. In many ways, this posture is formed by the position of long thin fingers that hang down, as it were. Let’s draw these fingers in our drawing.
Step 7
In this stage we will depict long thin legs that are located at a great distance from each other. The length of the legs should slightly exceed the length of the head and body in total.
Step 8
We are already at the finish line. Now we will depict the paws on the legs. There is nothing complicated, because these are just a few jagged figures.
Step 9
We highlight this step specifically so that you can carefully look at your drawing (in our case, it’s Kermit the frog) and identify any inaccuracies that may distort the final result. Also in this step, we erase the extra lines inside the contours of the hands of our meme character.
Step 10
The main feature of any meme is its recognizable appearance. Therefore, we will use the usual colors for everyone – two shades of green. Do not forget about the small shadow.
