How to Draw an Alarm Clock
- Prepare the base.
Determine what the size and location of your drawing will be and draw an even circle with a thin line.
- Add an outer outline.
Draw another even circle, but a little larger, similar to what is shown in our example.
- Draw the bottom of the alarm clock.
In the figure, the alarm clock is positioned from such an angle that we can see its lower part. In order to correctly depict this angle, draw a semicircular line at the bottom of the drawing.
- Sketch out the legs.
At the bottom, draw two small pointed legs and try to maintain symmetry.
- Depict the bell bowls.
At the top of the drawing, draw two figures of the same shape as in our example and make sure that the bowls are the same size.
- Draw the jumper between the bell bowls.
At the top of the drawing, draw two smooth connecting lines between the bell bowls.
- Add small details.
On the body of the alarm clock, draw the winding key that has an oval shape and add small semicircular elements on the bell bowl.
- Add the hour markers.
Depict all the numbers sequentially. Be careful and attentive at this stage of the drawing.
- Depict the arrows.
Draw a small circle in the center of the dial and use smooth straight lines to depict three hands of different sizes.
- Prepare the drawing for coloring.
Check if you have drawn all the main elements of the alarm clock correctly. Make corrections if necessary.
- Color the drawing.
To color metal elements you will need gray. You can paint the body of the alarm clock bright pink or any other color of your choice. Color the lower part of the body and the bell bowl with a dark shade.
