How to Draw a Volcano

If you want to be able to paint beautiful landscapes, then you need to know how to draw a volcano, tree, waterfall and other components of the landscape. After all, any picture consists of a large number of details, and it is very important to depict all these details ideally.

Step 1

Step 3

Let’s make the smoke even more realistic and cool. To do this, add more additional curvy lines. Repeat the smoke as in our example, or depict your own version.

Step 4

Continue to make the drawing of the volcano more realistic. Depict the texture of the mountain with a large number of uneven lines running from bottom to top. Next, depict puffs of smoke creeping down the mountain.

Step 5

Now take an eraser and proceed to clear the volcano drawing. After you wipe off all the auxiliary lines, take a darker pencil or ink and trace the drawing of the volcano to make it more beautiful and voluminous.

Step 6

Now let’s paint the volcano. Paint the background blue first. Next, paint the mountain itself in gray or some other dark color. Next, paint the puffs of smoke gray. Remember to add shadows and light to the volcano and puffs of smoke.
