The lesson presents the basic principles of drawing these parts of the face. You will see that it is not difficult. Memorize all the drawing steps so that you can easily draw a portrait of a person. But every time, take into account individual characteristics and try to correctly depict the shape of the nose and mouth.Time needed: 1 hourHow to Draw a Nose and Mouth Prepare the base. At the initial stage, draw a straight vertical line to determine the center of the drawing. The line should be thin so that you can easily remove it later. Mark the position of the mouth. Depict a smooth, slightly curved line that intersects the vertical line. This way you will determine the width of the mouth. Determine the position of the lower lip. Depict two ovals below the horizontal line to indicate the size of the lower lip. Do not forget that at the initial stage these lines should be thin. Determine the position of the upper lip. This step is very similar to the previous one, but in this case you will draw two small ovals above the horizontal line. Be careful and keep all proportions. Add the lip contour. Continue adding the lip contours. In this step, draw smooth connecting lines between the ovals and draw the side parts of the lips. Start drawing the nose. Just above the lips, draw a circle using thin lines. The circle should be exactly in the center. Add the sides of the nose. On each side of the circle, draw smooth semicircular lines to represent the nostrils. At the same time, observe symmetry. Depict the nasal openings. Draw two small ovals as shown in our example. The ovals should be the same size and should be placed symmetrically. Define the inside of the lips. Use the lines you drew earlier as a guide and make the inner lip contour more clear and expressive. Make the upper lip contour more defined. Carefully circle the upper contour of the lips, while giving the lips the correct anatomical shape. Define the lower lip contour. This step is similar to the previous one, and now you have to make the lip contour more clear and expressive. Draw a smooth line, giving the lips the desired shape. Make the nose more defined. As a guide, use the lines that you drew in the previous steps and give the nose the desired shape. At this stage, use clearer lines. Add the rest of the elements. Sketch out the skin folds to the lips. Define the nasolabial folds and add the crease under the lower lip. Draw the chin and with the help of short strokes depict the stubble. Correct inaccuracies. Take the eraser and carefully remove all the extra lines in the drawing. Prepare the drawing for coloring. Color the drawing. Choose any natural shade to color the skin. Color the lips in pink and color the nose opening in dark brown. Highlight the dark areas. Now you have learned another useful lesson.
