How to Draw a Castle
Are you looking for a very simple instruction on how to draw a castle? If so, then you can be sure to find what you were looking for. With this very simple tutorial, the team of Easydrawingart.com will show you how to draw a castle easy and quick.
Step 1
Let’s start with the base of the castle. To get started, create a large and flat cube using two long rectangles. When drawing a castle, keep in mind that we look at it from the bottom up.
Step 2
Let’s turn our cube into a castle drawing now. To do this, we will need to draw towers. They can be round and angular. We sketched both types.
Step 3
Now depict the central tower, which is located above the central gate. Next, depict the gate itself in the form of a small rectangle.
Step 4
Depict the lower parts of the towers, as the artists of Easydrawingart.com did. At the top of the towers, draw embrasures. In the inner part, depict some buildings, we drew another tower.
Step 5
Now let’s add some details to the castle drawing. Create narrow windows first. Arrange them either as in the example drawn by the artists of Easydrawingart.com, or arrange them as you wish. Next, depict the texture on the entrance gate and the embrasures on the walls.
Step 6
Now depict the rock under the castle. First, depict a precipice line. Then sketch a series of vertical uneven lines, as did the artists of Easydrawingart.com in the example below.
Step 7
Put the pencil aside and arm yourself with an eraser. Wipe off all guidelines from the castle drawing to get a beautiful and clear artwork. You can add the texture of the stone on the walls or flags on the towers.
Step 8
Let’s paint the castle now. Use gray paint to colorize the walls of the epic medieval building to get a cool medieval look. Next, paint the grass in green and the rock in taupe.
