How to Draw a Teacher
Follow this tutorial to practice drawing the human figure and learn how to draw a teacher step by step.
Teaching is a very responsible profession because teachers guide children and help them gain skills that will be useful in adulthood.

How to Draw a Teacher
- Prepare baselines.
Draw the main parts of the body in the form of rounded shapes. Do not forget that at the initial stage all lines should be thin.
- Mark the position of the limbs.
Use thin, straight lines to define the position of the arms and legs. Draw the folds as large dots.
- Determine the position of the board and pointer.
Draw a rectangle on the side of the body and draw a straight line that is parallel to the forearm of one arm. This will be the outline of the pointer.
- Mark the contours of the body.
From the head, draw down smooth connecting lines to depict the neck. Also draw connecting lines between the thoracic region and the pelvic region.
- Start drawing the hands.
Designate the thickness of the hands, for this, depict the individual parts of the hands in the form of cylindrical shapes. Designate the places of the folds in the form of ovals and add the hands.
- Sketch out the legs.
Focus on the lines that you drew earlier and give the legs thickness. Add the knee joints as ovals. Depict the lower parts of the legs and add the shoes at the bottom.
- Outline the face, draw the hair and ears.
Carefully trace the face along the contour, giving it the desired shape. On the sides of the head draw the ears and with the help of smooth lines depict the hair on the head.
- Add facial features.
In this step draw the eyes, eyebrows, nose, and mouth. Also depict the glasses. Keep proportions and try to correctly depict all facial features.
- Start drawing the clothes.
Draw the collar, mark the upper part of the dress and with the help of smooth depict the lower outline of the dress, located below the knees.
- Sketch out the sleeve.
Keep adding details. As a guide, use the lines that you drew earlier and depict the sleeve.
- Draw the hands, board, and pointer.
Detail the hands and draw the fingers in the same position as in our example. Depict the outline of the demonstrative board and draw the thickness of the pointer.
- Add the bottom of the legs.
Carefully trace the lower parts of the legs along the contour, while focusing on the lines that you drew earlier. Make the shoes sharper.
- Add details.
Draw the numbers and symbols on the display board. Using small the short strokes, add the folds to the clothes and detail the hair.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Compare the drawing with our example and if you notice any mistakes, correct them at this stage. Remove all unnecessary lines.
- Color the drawing.
Color the skin and hair with any natural shades. For coloring the clothes and shoes, use shades of gray and brown. Color the board and pointed brown.
