Let’s continue drawing popular characters and in this tutorial we will show you how to draw Gumball. This is the main character of the animated series The Amazing World of Gumball. Gumball is represented as a kitten with light blue fur.
Gumball has a large head, expressive eyes, and a very small torso. Thanks to such proportions, it looks very unusual and funny. If all the art supplies are already at the ready, then you can start drawing.

How to Draw Gumball
- Prepare the base.
Determine the size of your drawing and draw a circle to outline the head. Define the central body, draw the thoracic region and the pelvic region.
- Add the limbs and tail.
Using a few thin lines, mark the position of the upper and lower limbs and add the tail on the side.
- Make the contour of the head clearer.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and give the head the shape you need. Draw two small ears.
- Start adding elements of the muzzle.
Draw two big eyes which are oval and add the pupils. At the top, draw the small eyebrows.
- Draw the remaining elements of the muzzle.
Depict the small nose and a wide open mouth. Add one small tooth and outline the contour of the tongue with a smooth line.
- Draw the torso.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and depict the lateral contours of the body. Draw the upper and lower outline of the torso.
- Depict one arm.
Use the lines you drew earlier as a guide and give the arm the desired thickness. Outline the sleeve and add the lower part of the arm.
- Add the second arm.
Give the second hand the desired shape and thickness. Outline the sleeve and draw the fingers in the same position as in our example.
- Sketch out the lower part of the body.
Draw the wide hips and outline the upper legs with a few straight lines.
- Draw the lower parts of the paws.
At the bottom of the picture, draw the lower parts of the paws, which are oval. Add the fingers with short strokes.
- Depict the tail and mustache.
Using a smooth curved line, give the tail the desired shape and thickness. On the muzzle, draw a few lines to depict the mustache.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Take the eraser and carefully remove all extra lines. Correct errors if necessary.
- Color the drawing.
Color the body in blue. For coloring clothes, use beige, brown, and gray. You will also need black, pink, and red.
