How to Draw a Violet

In this guide, we’ll show you how a violet. This is actually a simple tutorial, but we tried to make a guide, following which you will draw a cool flower.

 

Step 1

Firstly, we will draw a rounded petal. It looks a bit like the heart sign used on Valentine’s Day. This petal should be slightly below and to the right of the central area of the paper sheet. Use only light lines that you can correct with the eraser.

Step 2

Add another petal outline on the opposite side. Do not try to perfectly copy the contours of the first leaf, in nature, there is no perfect symmetry. Pay attention to the distance between the two petals.

Step 3

So we continue the guide on how to draw a violet.  In this step, we will draw the central part of the flower and another large, rounded petal. As you can see, this petal does not visually have a central part. By the way, you can also look at the guide on how to draw a rose.

Step 4

To make our flower look complete, we need to add two more large petals. One of the two petals has only an upper part. Don’t paint these petals as perfect copies of each other, but try to keep the same style.

Step 5

Now we can add some colors. We chose purple as the main color. The center of the flower is colored bright yellow. This magnificent combination of colors was created by nature itself.
