How to Draw a Betta Fish

In this drawing guide, we will tell you how to draw a Betta Fish. This will be a pretty simple tutorial. We did our best for you to create very cool art.

 

Step 1

Firstly, we draw an elongated oval shape. This shape is located on the left side of the paper sheet. Do not try to make this oval perfectly straight and symmetrical.

Step 2

Add the front part of our fish, which looks like a small cone with a smooth taper. The tail begins on the back of the body. So, with the help of smooth lines, we outline the outlines of a wide plate that will become the base of the tail.

Step 3

Draw the outlines of a wide, flat tail. As you can see, it looks like two smooth lines forming an obtuse angle. These lines are connected using a long, wavy line.

Step 4

Several steps in this guide will focus on drawing fins. These are very important organs that the fish uses as a rudder to correct the direction of movement.  Let’s sketch the rough outlines of the top fin in this step.

Step 5

So in this step, we will draw a large fin that is located on the lower part of the body of our fish. The bottom edge of the fin should have a slight slope as in our sample.

Step 6

Step 7

Fish fins are highly elastic organs. As I said, fins are used to correct movement, which means that these must be very mobile organs. So in this step, we will draw long thin segments that form the fins.
