How to Draw a Bee
In this super easy ten stage guide, you will learn how to draw a bee easy and quick. We hope this will be a very easy drawing for you.
Step 1
Firstly, let’s draw the outlines of the body of our bee. In this step, the torso looks like three rounded shapes that are horizontal. The first figure is much smaller than the others.
Step 2
We could draw a more fun face if we painted in a cartoon style. However, we created a more realistic lesson, so in this step we will outline the outlines of the jaws, mustache and large oval eye.
Step 3
So let’s add the outlines of our bee’s paws. More precisely, the upper parts of the paws. As you can see, the paws vary considerably in shape and size.
Step 4
Let’s finish drawing the legs of our bee completely. To do this, add distal segments that bifurcate into two tips. Note the large, noticeable bumps that merge abruptly into the narrow part of the legs.
Step 5
Bees are great at flying. The aerodynamics of these guys can only be envied. In this step, we will draw the wings that are so necessary for flight. You may have seen a similar step in the fly post.
Step 6
The bees are covered with few hairs. Let’s sketch out the outer part of this cover using short oblique lines. The lines shouldn’t be too long.
Step 7
One of the most striking and memorable details in the bee’s appearance is the black stripes on the abdomen. If you see a flying insect with such stripes, it is better to move away. Let’s outline the outlines of these stripes.
Step 8
In this step, we will apply small patterns to the wings. So use straight, oblique and rounded lines as in our sample. There are rectangular areas near the body, rounded figures are located near the distal edges.
Step 9
We always highlight a special step so that you can evaluate your sketch, find all the errors and correct them with the eraser. Let’s do this because the next step is to work with colors.
Step 10
The traditional color scheme for a bee is a combination of yellow and dark brown. Prepare darker shades of these colors to paint shadows. Note the slight highlight inside the eye.
