How to Draw a Bat
Do you like bats? In this drawing guide, we will tell you how to draw a bat. This is a pretty simple lesson, but if you follow the correct order of steps, you will get great results.
Step 1
Firstly, we sketch out the outlines of two rounded shapes. If our bat stood on its hind legs, we would draw something similar to the base of a snowman. In our case, we have small features of the angle, because the bat flies directly at us.
Step 2
In this step, we will outline the outlines of the large wings. Now it looks like two asymmetrical corners that are much longer than the contours of the torso from the previous step.
Step 3
Bats tend to have very large ears. In this step, we will outline the outlines of the large, sensitive ears.The medial edges of the ears are slightly edged as in our sample.
Step 4
How do you imagine the face of a bat? If you prefer the anime style of drawing, your animal probably has huge eyes and a small mouth. However, in reality, bats have rather small eyes. Let’s draw this and a large, pig-like nose.

Add three more smooth lines, which will indicate the webbing on the wings and the cartilaginous edging at the top. Try to keep the distance between these lines correctly.
Step 10
We use dark colors to make our drawing look realistic. Choose a darker shade of the base color for a slight shadow. Avoid too bright and too variegated colors.
