How to Draw Shorts
- Draw the main outline.
In this step, use thin straight lines and depict the side edges, top and bottom.
- Depict the belt.
At the top, draw two smooth, slightly curved lines that are parallel. In this case, the top line should be clearer.
- Add the sides.
In this step, draw clear lines and give the side edges of the shorts the desired shape.
- Sketch out the rest of the outline.
Now draw clear, straight lines on the inside of the legs and draw the bottom edge with a smooth, uneven line.
- Add the pockets and pleats.
Add pockets on the sides, for this, draw small, even lines on each side. With the help of thin lines, depict several folds on the fabric.
- Draw the lightning.
At the top of the shorts, draw a vertical line down the center to represent the outline of the zipper. Then add some folds.
- Depict the rest of the elements.
When the main contour is ready, you can start drawing small details. Draw a circle to represent the button and add two belt loops.
- Color the drawing.
Choose two shades of beige, or use any other color. Draw shadows with a darker shade.
