How to Draw Sailor Moon

1. Prepare the base.

   Using figures of different shapes, determine the position of the head, thoracic region and pelvis. Draw connecting lines between these parts of the body.

2. Add the limbs.

   Using several straight lines of different sizes, define the position of the arms and legs. At the same time, keep the proportions.

3. Make a markup on the face, add the contours of the body.

   On the head, draw lines that will help position the elements of the face. Draw lines between the head and chest to represent the neck and add the sides of the body.

4. Draw the arms.

   Focus on the auxiliary lines and give the arms the desired thickness. Draw the places of the folds in the form of ovals and draw the hands at the bottom.

5. Depict the legs.

   Now give thickness to the lower limbs. To do this, use cylindrical figures. Draw the knee joints in the form of ovals and add the feet.

6. Start detailing the head.

   Draw the outline of the hair on the head and add the long strands of hair on the sides. Make the oval of the face more clear, draw the ears and earrings.

7. Add elements of the face.

   Depict the large eyes, and add the iris and pupils. Draw the small nose and mouth. Make the outline of the neck clearer.

8. Start drawing the clothes.

   First draw the collar, then add the big bow on the chest and finally draw the side outlines of the clothes.

9. Draw the sleeves and lower parts of the arms.

   Depict the sleeves that are tucked up to the elbows. Draw some folds near the shoulders and in the elbow joints.

10. Depict the hands.

    Be careful in this step and try to depict the position of the fingers correctly so that the hands look as natural as possible.

11. Add the bottom of the dress.

    Now you have to draw the short fluffy skirt. Draw the top first, then add the folds along the bottom outline. Behind depict the visible part of the bow.

12. Sketch out the legs.

    Focus on the lines that you drew in the previous steps and circle the legs along the contour, giving them the desired shape. Picture high boots.

13. Draw the hair and clothes.

    Add some stripes on the collar, draw the creases on the elbows and draw long, thin lines on the hair.

14. Correct inaccuracies.

    Take the eraser and carefully remove the extra lines on your drawing. If you notice errors, correct them at this stage.

15. Color the drawing.

    Color the skin beige, paint your hair yellow. You will also need red, blue, and black.
