How to Draw Mona Lisa

Prepare the base.
As usual, start drawing with baselines. With the help of rounded lines draw the outline of the head, add the central axis of the body and the thoracic region.
Sketch out the limbs.
Use thin, straight lines to depict the position of the hands. Mark the places of the folds in the form of large dots.
Depict the outlines of the body.
From the head, draw down smooth lines to depict the neck and draw the side outline of the torso.
Draw the arms.
Add individual parts of the arms in the form of cylindrical shapes. Draw the places of the folds in the form of circles and add the hands below.
Mark up the face.
Depict a thin auxiliary line on which the eyes will be located and determine the position of the nose and mouth.
Outline the face and add the eyes.
As a guide, use the lines you drew in the previous steps and carefully outline the face along the contour, giving it the desired shape. Outline the eyes.
Sharpen the rest of the facial features.
Continue to add clarity and expressiveness to the drawing. Focus on the guidelines and in this step make the nose clearer and add lines around the eyes.
Depict the mouth and hair.
Give the lips the desired shape. Draw the hair with wavy lines and depict the cape on the head.
Make a clear outline of the neck and start drawing the clothes.
Carefully trace the neck and upper part of the shoulder along the contour. With the help of smooth curved lines depict the upper part of the clothes, as shown in our example.
Make clear one hand.
Depict the outline of the sleeve with wavy lines and add the hand. Try to correctly depict the position of the fingers.
Add the second hand and clothes.
Use clear lines and trace the rest of the clothes along the contour. Carefully draw the brush of the second hand.
Detail the clothes and hair.
With the help of thin lines, depict the folds on the clothes in different ways. With wavy lines, draw the individual strands of the hair.
Correct inaccuracies.
Take the eraser and carefully remove all the extra lines in the drawing. Correct errors if necessary, achieving maximum similarity.
Color the drawing.
You will need different shades of beige in order to paint the skin. Use different shades of brown to color the hair and clothes.
