How to Draw Gundam

Gundam has a strong build, has a large shield on one arm, and has spikes on its head. Gundam has great strength, durability, accuracy, can travel through space, overcome any barriers and has many other superhuman physical characteristics.

How to Draw Gundam
- Prepare the base.
Draw the main parts of the body as figures of different shapes. Using a smooth line, mark the central axis of the body.
- Add the limbs.
Use thin straight lines to indicate the position of the upper and lower limbs. Draw the folds as large dots.
- Detail the head.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and give the head the desired shape. Draw the face elements and add the spikes on the top of the head.
- Draw the upper torso.
Continue adding robot elements and below the head draw a curly element that has the shape of a trapezoid.
- Depict the body of the torso.
Using straight and curved lines, draw the side contours of the torso. Add several shapes of different shapes on the chest and belly.
- Sketch out one arm.
Focus on the auxiliary lines to depict one arm. Draw the upper part of the arm and use straight lines to depict the large shield.
- Add the rest of the hand.
Using curved lines, draw the elbow joint, shoulders, and hand of one arm. Try to depict the position of your fingers correctly.
- Draw the second arm.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and give the second arm the desired shape and thickness. Draw the large element at the base of the arm, detail the elbow joint and add the hand at the bottom.
- Depict the lower part of the torso.
Continue adding body parts and in this step draw the lower part of the torso, which consists of several elements.
- Sketch out one leg.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and give the leg the desired shape. Draw the large elongated element on the knee joint and add the raised folds.
- Add the bottom of one leg.
Now you should draw the large foot. Draw the wide element at the top of the foot and add the high sole.
- Draw the second leg.
Consistently draw the elements of the second leg, as shown in our example. Add some raised folds.
- Add the bottom of the second leg.
The main elements are ready, all that remains is to draw the bottom of the foot. Use smooth lines and depict a wide base of the foot and a high sole.
- Correct any inaccuracies.
Look carefully at your drawing and if you find errors, correct them. Remove all unnecessary lines.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring, you will need gray, black, yellow, blue, and red. Don’t forget to highlight the dark areas.
