How to Draw Grapes

Depending on the variety, grapes can be green, golden, pink, or dark blue. The berries also come in different shapes, including round, oval, and elongated.
Using the steps of this tutorial, you’ll draw a neat bunch of grapes with a leaf and stem.

How to Draw Grapes
- Draw the guidelines.
Use curved dashed lines to indicate the dimensions of the bunch of grapes you will draw with this lesson.
- Outline the vine leaves.
At the top of the previously drawn shape, draw guidelines to indicate the dimensions of the vine leaves.
- Start drawing the grapes.
Depict several circles and ovals of different sizes inside the previously drawn shape, as shown in the figure.
- Add more grapes.
Continue drawing the grapes by adding ovals, circles, and arcs of various sizes, just as shown in the example.
- Sketch out some more grapes.
Along the edges of the previously drawn grapes, add arcs of different sizes, as shown in the figure.
- Finish drawing the grapes.
Now you need to add a few more arcs of different sizes to complete the drawing of the berries.
- Depict the outer edge of the leaves.
To make the vine leaves look more realistic, mark their edges with zigzag and wavy lines, as shown in the picture.
- Add the veins to the leaves.
Inside the previously drawn vine leaves, draw straight and curved lines of various lengths to draw the veins.
- Erase extra lines.
Use the eraser to remove any unnecessary guidelines from the drawing. If you notice errors, correct them at this stage.
- Color the drawing.
To color the grapes, use brown and green. To make the drawing look more realistic, mark the areas of light and shadow.
