How to Draw Fluffy Hair
- Prepare the base.
Start drawing by building baselines. Draw the outline of the head, which has the shape of an oval with a pointed lower part.
- Depict the ears and neck.
Add two ears on the sides of the head using curved lines. Draw two smooth lines below the head to represent the neck.
- Outline the hair.
Draw smooth thin lines around the head to end up with the voluminous hairstyle. All lines at this stage should be thin.
- Begin to give the hairstyle the desired shape.
With the help of jagged lines, draw strands of the hair on the sides that have a different shape. Draw the large strands of a rounded shape on the forehead.
- Detail the sides.
On the sides of the head, draw the main curved lines, as shown in our example. This is a very simple step, and you can easily follow it.
- Detail the strand of the hair to the forehead.
Draw the individual spiky strands of the hair that cover the forehead. Depict a few small curved lines at the parting site.
- Detail another strand of the hair on the forehead.
Repeat the previous step and add some spiky strands on the other side of the forehead. Take your time and try to draw the same lines as in the example.
- Add the strands of the hair near the ears.
Continue adding details and in this step draw the small strands of the hair that hide the ears. Use smooth curved lines.
- Detail the hair on top and behind the ears.
Sharpen the outline of the hair on the crown and add small strands of the hair that are located behind the ears.
- Draw the side strands on one side of the head.
On the right side of the drawing, add the spiky strands with the ends turned up. Arbitrary lines are allowed here.
- Add the side strands of the hair on the other side of the head.
Repeat the previous step and in the same way depict the spiky strands of hair on the left side of the drawing.
- Sketch out the individual hair.
Spend the lot of short thin strokes on all the hair, thereby giving your drawing a more realistic look.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Take the eraser and remove the extra lines on the drawing. Do this carefully, so you don’t accidentally delete important lines.
- Color the drawing.
Color the skin with any natural color. Use several shades of brown to color the hair.
