How to Draw an Artist
- Prepare the base.
Mark the position of the head, thoracic region and pelvis. Define the central axis of the body and with thin straight lines indicate the position of the arms and legs. Draw the folds as large dots.
- Add the contours of the body and make markings on the head.
From the head, draw down short lines to represent the neck. Draw the sides of the torso. On the head, draw a transverse line.
- Depict the arms and legs.
Use the auxiliary as a guide and give the legs the desired shape and thickness. Draw the outline of the hands and add the feet at the bottom.
- Detail the head.
Make the oval of the face clearer, draw the ear and the beret on the side. Draw the eyes, nose and mouth, while keeping the proportions.
- Draw the clothes, shoes and palette.
With smooth lines, start adding the outline of the clothes. Draw the T-shirt and pants with suspenders. At the bottom, draw the shoes and draw the palette with a rounded line.
- Sketch out the hands.
Draw the hands in the same position as in our example. In one hand, draw the brush that is raised up.
- Correct inaccuracies.
When all the main contours of the body are ready, the auxiliary lines are no longer needed, and you can carefully remove them.
- Color the drawing.
Color the skin with a natural shade. Color the beret and pants navy blue, choose beige for the T-shirt, and brown for the boots. Color the palette with bright colors.
