How to Draw a Zombie
- Draw the guidelines.
Schematically depict the main parts of the body. Draw a central vertical line and add an oval where the head will be, then draw two more rounded shapes to represent the torso.
- Depict the limbs.
Use thin, straight lines to depict the position of the arms and legs. Draw the joints as small circles.
- Add the outline of the torso and lines on the head.
Depict the shoulders and sides of the torso. Draw transverse lines on the head, which will later help you correctly position the facial features.
- Sketch out the arms.
Use auxiliary lines and add volume to the arms. To do this, draw smooth parallel lines and draw large circles at the joints. At the bottom, draw the hands.
- Depict the legs.
The legs should be drawn in the same way as the arms. That is, it is necessary to draw smooth lines and add circles at the joints. Below, draw the feet in the same position as in the example.
- Add facial features.
Sketch out the small eyes, nose, and mouth. Be careful when drawing the open mouth and try to correctly depict its shape. Then add the teeth.
- Draw the outline of the head and ears.
In this step, draw the rest of the elements to complete the drawing of the head. Draw a clear outline of the head and add the ears on the sides. With thin, uneven lines, add small folds on the face.
- Sketch out the top of the clothes.
In the figure, the zombie is dressed in a shirt, and the most common model is shown here. Depict the collar, sides, front outline and at the bottom add some folds on the fabric.
- Depict the sleeves.
The sleeves fit snugly to the body, so the contour of the sleeves coincides with the contour of the arms. Draw a cuff on one sleeve, draw an uneven bottom edge on the other sleeve.
- Add the hands.
In this step, be very careful to correctly portray the position of the fingers. The acquired skills will definitely be useful to you in the future.
- Draw the pants.
Use jagged lines to depict the outline of the trousers. Draw the belt and add pleats at the bottom of the trousers.
- Depict the shoes.
At this point, you must add the shoes. This will be easy, just draw rounded lines at the bottom of the legs and add the sole.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Take a close look at your drawing again and correct the mistakes if necessary. Delete all extra lines and make the outline clearer.
- Color the zombie.
Use green to color the skin. For coloring clothes, you can choose any dark shades of your choice.
The lesson has come to an end. Now you have learned how to draw a negative character. We hope that you correctly depicted the position of the body and the emotions on the face of the zombie. If you have any questions, you can write about it in the comments.
