How to Draw a Worm

Today we will tell you how to draw a worm. This is a fairly simple drawing, but if you follow the correct sequence of steps, you will get excellent results.

 

Step 1

Firstly, we outline the contours of the body of our worm. You can choose any position of the body of our worm, we have chosen such as you can see in our sample. It looks a bit like an electrocardiogram line.

Step 2

So we continue the guide on how to draw a worm. Add an upper outline to complete the silhouette of the worm’s body. Focus on the first line from your first step and draw a second parallel line. Note that in the distal direction, we can see slight smooth tapering.

Step 3

Worms have a very interesting physique. The combination of many segments helps the worm to crawl through various obstacles. Let’s draw these segments that are equidistant from each other.

Step 4

This stаge is necessary so that you can check the actions from the previous steps. If you notice any problems, fix them now. After that, you can remove the extra guidelines and move on to working with colors in the final step.

Step 5

You can choose any color for your worm. We decided to go with light brown, however, you can choose light pink or bright colors. Choose darker shades of the base color. This will help you paint shadows without too much trouble. A stripe of white color will make your drawing more vivid.
