- Mark out.
Draw two oval-shaped lines, as well as one incomplete oval, to indicate the location of the head, chest, and back of the torso.
- Mark the location of the limbs and the outline of the back.
Using one line, connect the outlines of the head and torso, outline the limbs using small circles and curved lines of different lengths.
- Start drawing the front of the dog’s head.
Depict the eyes, nose, and outline of the front of the head using an oval and curved lines as shown.
- Draw the ears and finish drawing the outline of the muzzle.
Define the chin with an arc, add the ears using curved lines of different lengths as shown in the picture.
- Depict the facial features of a small dog.
Draw the eyes, nose, and eyebrows inside the previously drawn outline of the head using ovals, arcs, and curved lines of varying lengths.
- Sketch out the neck of the small dog.
Below the previously drawn head, draw two curved lines of different lengths on the right and left sides.
- Draw the outlines of the torso.
