How to Draw a Skateboard
The team at Easydrawingart.com is very fond of skateboarding, and to express this passion on our website, we decided to create a tutorial on how to draw a skateboard.
All the instructions on Easydrawingart.com are presented in the simplest way possible, and this skateboard drawing tutorial is no exception.
It consists of eight super simple steps, with the new lines in each step highlighted in red for maximum clarity and simplicity.
Step 1: Draw the board edges
Sketch two straight parallel lines. These will be the side edges of our skateboard. The distance between the lines should be equal on both sides. If it is difficult for you to create these lines, then use a ruler.
Step 2: Draw the sides of the skateboard
Now draw the tips of the skateboard. These tips should be sketched with two rounded lines. Both sides of the boars should be symmetrical and mirror each other.
Step 3: Draw the skateboard wheels
Using two perfect circles, draw the skateboard wheels on both sides. The wheels should be perfectly round, the same size, and located at the same distance from the board.
Step 4: Sketch the suspension lines
Connect the wheels to the skateboard with several simple lines that act as a suspension. The suspension can be the same as in our picture or a little more complex.
Step 5: Draw the skateboard side and hubs
Create the side edge of the board. This line should exactly follow the line from the previous step and create the side border. Draw small circles in the center of the wheels for the hubs.
Step 6: Correct and complete the sketch
Compare your skateboard drawing with ours, correct the shapes if necessary, and proceed to the next step. By the way, you can add some drawings or logos to the top of the board.
Step 7: Color the board and wheels
You can color your skateboard drawing any way you like. We chose the most classic and traditional colors, but feel free to experiment with the colors of your skateboard.
