How to Draw a Room
- Prepare the base.
First, mark the floor and walls. At the initial stage, use absolutely straight lines.
- Determine the position of the interior elements.
With thin lines, mark the position of the sofa, depict the carpet and the floor planter in the form of a rectangle. Draw the plant with thin curved lines.
- Draw the sofa.
Now begin to give the sofa the desired shape, focusing on the auxiliary lines. Draw the seat, armrests and add some cushions.
- Depict the bottom of the sofa.
Sketch out the long narrow strip at the bottom and draw two small thin legs at the ends of the sofa.
- Add the carpet.
With the help of several straight lines depict the carpet, which in this picture has the shape of a trapezoid.
- Sketch out the plant.
Draw the rectangular pot with straight lines. With the help of curved lines draw the lot of spiky leaves.
- Make the contours of the walls clearer.
Carefully circle the previously drawn lines on the floor and on the walls. Add the baseboard using straight lines add the baseboard.
- Draw the picture.
On the wall, draw the picture of a rectangular shape. On the picture, draw one smooth curved line.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Now you do not need auxiliary lines, and you can carefully remove them to prepare the drawing for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
Paint the wall blue, paint the floor brown. Use gray for coloring the sofa, carpet, and picture frame. You will also need green.
