How to Draw a Playground
- Prepare baselines.
Determine the size of your drawing and draw an elongated oval with thin lines. Draw the outlines of the trees on the sides.
- Draw the outlines of the towers.
With a few straight lines mark the position of the towers and with curved lines mark the position of the slides.
- Start detailing the towers.
Draw a triangle at the top of each tower and add small circles in the middle.
- Depict one tower.
With the help of straight lines mark the side contours of the tower and draw the hill with a curved line.
- Add the span.
In this step, you must draw the span that connects the two towers. First draw the top and bottom outline and then add some cross lines.
- Sketch out the second tower.
With the help of even straight lines depict the sides of the tower and add transverse lines at the top.
- Draw the ladder.
At the bottom of the tower, draw the ladder that has side contours and several rungs in the middle.
- Depict the rest of the playground.
Add a few more elements using smooth, straight lines, as shown in our example.
- Add the slide and support.
With the help of straight lines depict another tower and with curved lines depict the second hill.
- Draw the trampoline.
In the middle of the playground, add the small round trampoline that has the top and some posts at the bottom.
- Depict the trees.
Focus on the guidelines and detail the trees. Draw the trunk and lush crown on the trees.
- Add the bottom outline of the pad.
Now the main elements of the playground are ready and in this step depict the surrounding space. Draw a smooth, curved line around the playground.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Now take the eraser and carefully remove all unnecessary lines on your drawing to prepare it for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
Color the foliage and grass green, color the tree trunks brown. Use a few bright colors to color the playground elements.
