How to Draw a Panther
- Outline the head and torso.
To prepare the base, for this, draw three circles, with which you will indicate the size and location of the head and torso.
- Draw the back and limbs
Using a smooth line, connect all the circles along the top edge. This way you will depict the neck, back and upper part of the tail. At the bottom, add four limbs.
- Depict the lower outline of the torso.
At the bottom, draw a smooth curved line to depict the lower part of the neck and belly. Then draw the bottom outline of the tail.
- Sketch out the front of the head.
With the help of smooth curved lines depict the superciliary arch, nose and upper jaw. Try to draw the same lines as in the example.
- Add the nose and lower jaw.
This is a very simple step in which you will draw the nose and lower jaw. We hope that you can easily depict these elements.
- Draw the rest of the elements on the head.
Depict the small eye and add the ears which are rounded. One ear is higher, the other lower, because the panther tilted its head slightly to one side.
- Depict the forelimbs.
Give volume to the forelimbs. The widest part of the paw is at the top and gradually narrows downward. Try to correctly portray all the bends.
- Sketch out the lower parts of the front paws.
Now you can draw the feet, for this use smooth rounded lines. Draw the soles and add the toes on each paw.
- Draw the hind legs.
Add the wide hip and a narrower lower part. On the reverse side of both paws, draw bends in the joints, as shown in the example.
- Add the lower parts of the hind legs.
In this step, you should finish drawing the paws and add the feet. To do this, use rounded lines and draw the sole and toes.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Now remove all auxiliary lines. If you find inaccuracies, you can correct them at this stage, then carefully trace the drawing along the outline.
- Color the panther.
The panther has a black fur, but for coloring you can use a dark gray color, and depict the dark areas with black.
