How to Draw a Nurse

How to Draw a Nurse
- Mark up.
Determine the location of the head, upper and lower torso. To do this, draw rounded shapes and connect them with one vertical line.
- Mark the position of the limbs.
Using straight lines of different lengths, mark the position of the arms and legs. Mark the connection points as large dots.
- Draw the side parts of the body.
Depict connecting lines between the head and chest to represent the neck. Also draw connecting lines between the thoracic region and the pelvic region.
- Designate the size of the hands.
Add the thickness to the arms, to do this, depict the individual parts of the arms in the form of cylindrical shapes. Mark the places of the folds in the form of circles and add the hands below.
- Determine the size of the legs.
Draw separate parts of the legs as separate cylindrical figures. Depict the knee joints in the form of ovals and add the feet below.
- Detail the head and face.
Consistently draw the eyes, eyebrows, nose, and mouth. Then, using smooth lines, depict the hair on the head.
- Start drawing the clothes.
With the help of smooth lines carefully draw the collar, sides and bottom outline of the medical jacket.
- Detail the arms.
Draw smooth lines from the shoulders and draw short sleeves. Depict the lower parts of the arms, focusing on the lines that you drew earlier.
- Sketch out the hands and add details.
Draw the visible part of one arm and draw the pocket. Draw the second hand and represent the folder with a few straight lines.
- Add the pants.
Use smooth lines to draw the pants, then add the folds to make the nurse’s outfit look more realistic.
- Draw the shoes.
At the bottom, add the special medical shoes with low soles. In this step, use clear, smooth lines.
- Add details.
Add the front placket on the medical jacket, draw the small round buttons and add the small pleats to the trousers.
- Draw the stethoscope.
Continue adding details and depict the stethoscope on the nurse’s neck, which consists of several elements.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Take a close look at the drawing and if you find mistakes, then carefully correct them at this stage. Remove all extra lines.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring skin and hair, use any natural shades. For coloring clothes, use shades of blue. You will also need gray, brown, and black.
