How to Draw a Mosquito
- Draw the helper shapes.
Decide what size your drawing will be and prepare the base. To do this, draw two circles of different sizes and one elongated oval.
- Add the elements of the head.
Depict two eyes that are round, then start drawing the proboscis. Draw a wide base and a long, thin end.
- Depict the paws on one side.
Consistently draw three paws. The base of the paws is in one place, and the ends are turned in different directions. Be careful at this stage to correctly depict the position of the paws.
- Sketch out the paws on the other side.
Repeat the previous step and draw three long legs on the other side. Each paw consists of two elements that form an acute angle between them.
- Draw the wing.
On the top of the abdomen, draw a smooth, curved line to depict an elongated wing. In this case, the wing is located along the belly.
- Correct the inaccuracies.
Check your work and correct inaccuracies if necessary. Use the eraser to remove the auxiliary lines and make the outline clearer.

You will need several shades of brown.
