How to Draw a Magic Ball

Step 1: Prepare the basic shapes
Determine the size of the crystal ball, then draw a large circle for the sphere. Below it, add the curved outline of the stand using light construction lines.
Step 2: Refine the ball
Trace the circular outline of the magic ball with a clean, smooth line. Correct any uneven areas and erase the rough construction marks around the sphere.
Step 3: Draw the magic ball stand
Use the construction lines to outline the upper part of the stand beneath the crystal ball. Add the curved sections and divide the surface into several decorative panels.
Step 4: Add the stand base
Draw three short legs of the magic ball at the bottom of the stand. Place one in the center and add two matching side legs to form a stable, symmetrical base.

Step 8: Clean up the magic ball drawing
Erase the remaining construction lines and refine the outlines of the crystal ball and stand. Darken the finished contours so every decorative detail is clear and easy to see.
Step 9: Color the magic ball drawing
Color the crystal ball with light and dark shades of purple. Use light brown for the stand, then add soft highlights and shadows to give the magic ball more depth.
