How to Draw a Catfish
- Prepare baselines.
Determine the size of the drawing and draw a circle with thin lines to indicate the position of the head. Then draw a smooth curved line.
- Draw the head.
Start shaping the body of the catfish and in this step draw the outline of the head, add the eyes, nostril, mouth, and folds below the head.
- Depict the fin and whiskers.
Draw the fin on the side of the head and with the help of several lines draw the mustache on the top of the head and under the lower jaw.
- Add the rest of the body.
Draw smooth lines from the head and depict the body of the catfish, which is curved.
- Sketch out the tail and lower fins.
Draw the small tail and add stripes to depict the relief. At the bottom, draw a wavy line to depict the lower fin and also add the transverse strokes.
- Draw the rest of the fins.
