How to Draw Goofy

Goofy is a cheerful, simple-minded, careless and slightly eccentric dog. Very often, Goofy is clumsy, because of which he gets into unpleasant situations. Goofy typically makes mistakes, but immediately tries to fix everything.
Goofy has elongated ears and an elongated muzzle. On his head, Goofy has a cylindrical hat, which gives the image a circus look. Goofy is traditionally dressed in an orange sweater, black vest and blue pants. It is in this image that you will draw this hero.
At the very beginning of drawing, use only thin lines, which can be easily removed later. Gradually add clear contours and small details.

How to Draw Goofy
- Draw the base.
Define the center of the body, draw a vertical line, add three oval circles to represent the head, chest, and pelvis. Use thin straight lines to define the position of the limbs.
- Add the elements of the head.
At the top of the head, draw a figure of the same shape as in the example. Draw the oval-shaped nose, and above the nose add the small crease.
- Depict the sides of the muzzle.
On the sides of the head, carefully draw two curved lines and at the same time try to maintain symmetry.
- Sketch out the top of the head and pupils.
On the top of the head, consistently draw small semicircular lines. Add two small oval-shaped pupils.
- Draw the teeth and lower jaw.
On the upper jaw, draw two rectangular teeth and draw two rounded connecting lines between them.
- Add the ears and tongue.
Depict two long thin ears on the sides of the head. In the mouth, draw two small lines to depict the outline of the tongue.
- Sketch out the hat.
Goofy has the tall hat of an unusual shape. To draw it, use curved lines and do not forget to add the folds.
- Draw the vest.
From the head, draw down smooth lines to depict the two sides of the vest. Below the head, add the outline of the collar.
- Depict the bottom of the sweater.
Draw vertical lines from the vest and draw smooth semicircular lines at the bottom to indicate the lower contour of the sweater, add the folds on the sides.
- Add the upper parts of the arms.
Use the guidelines you drew earlier and give the arms the necessary thickness.
- Sketch out the rest of the arms.
Continue drawing the arms and draw wide cuffs. With the help of two parallel lines, depict the thin arms.
- Draw the gloves.
Now it’s time to draw the hands. Depict the gloves and at the same time try to correctly depict the position of the fingers, add the folds on the palms.
- Depict the pants.
Draw smooth lines down from the belt and depict the short trousers, add small the folds on the clothes.
- Add the shoes.
Goofy has funny long shoes in which the socks point in opposite directions. Take your time and try to correctly depict the shape of the shoes.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Check your drawing and correct inaccuracies if necessary. Carefully remove all extra lines.
- Color the Goofy.
To color the character, you will need several bright colors—orange, blue, green, red, pink, brown, and black.
