How to Draw Eyes
- Mark up.
Determine the location of the drawing. To do this, draw a vertical and horizontal line. We remind you that at the initial stage, all lines should be thin and barely noticeable.
- Determine the position of the eyes.
On the horizontal line, draw two circles using thin lines to indicate the relative position of the eyes.
- Add the outline of the eyes and eyebrows
Focus on the auxiliary lines and give the eyes the desired shape. Depict the eyebrows in the same shape as in our example and add the crease on the upper eyelid.
- Depict the inside of the eyes.
In each eye, depict the iris, the upper part of which is slightly covered by the eyelid. Draw the pupils in the form of small circles.
- Sketch out the eyelashes.
Draw the eyelashes on the upper and lower eyelids using short strokes. When doing this, consider the direction of the eyelash growth.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Now you can carefully remove all the extra lines in the drawing. Correct the mistakes if necessary and prepare the drawing for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring the skin, use any natural shades. The eyebrows and irises color in dark brown. The eyelashes and pupils color in black.
