How to Draw Bluey
- Prepare the base.
Use thin lines to draw the head in the form of a circle and add the torso of about the same size at the bottom.
- Add the limbs and tail.
Use thin lines to define the position of the upper and lower limbs, and draw a curved line on the side of the body to define the position of the tail.
- Depict the head.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and give the head the desired shape. Draw the eyebrows, nose, and outline of the front of the muzzle.
- Draw the ears.
This will be a very simple step that you can follow quickly. On the head draw two triangular shaped ears and immediately add the inner parts of the ears.
- Sketch out the eyes.
First draw one oval-shaped eye, then draw a horizontal connecting line between the eye and the nose and draw the visible part of the second eye.
- Add one upper paw.
Focus on the auxiliary lines and give one paw the desired thickness. Draw the fingers.
- Draw the torso.
Use the lines you drew earlier as a guide and give the torso the desired rectangular shape.
- Depict the second upper paw.
Continue adding elements of the dog’s body. In this step, give the second paw the desired thickness and depict the visible parts of the fingers.
- Sketch out one lower paw.
Using straight lines, give the paw the desired thickness. Draw the bottom of the paw and add the toes.
- Draw the second lower paw.
This step is similar to the previous one and here you also have to draw the outline of the paw, focusing on the auxiliary line.
- Depict the tail.
Continue adding elements of the body and in this step draw the tail which has a jagged end.
- Detail the color.
With smooth lines draw a contour where the color of the body will be different. Add many small strokes on the front of the muzzle.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Take a close look at your drawing and if you notice any mistakes, correct them at this stage. Carefully remove all extra lines.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring, you will need dark blue, black, and beige. Don’t forget to highlight the dark areas.
