How to Draw a Wolf
This is just another lesson about animals. We know that you love this topic, so we created a guide on how to draw a wolf
Step 1
Firstly we outline the outline of the body of our wolf. You can see three circles that differ in size and five lines. The horizontal line has smooth bends. This is the contour of the spine actually. The four vertical lines are the contours of the limbs.
Step 2
According to our idea, our painted wolf howls at the moon. To depict the contours of the head in this case, you need to use three triangular shapes as in our sample. If you want to draw a wolf with a closed mouth, draw one triangle in front instead of two triangles.
Step 3
In this step, we will create the contours of the neck. So we connect the head and body with a pair of gear lines. The bottom line should be much longer than the top line.
Step 4
Now we will draw the contours of the forepaws. You can see a smooth bend down. On the distal part of the paws are rounded fingers.
Step 5
Now we should finish the line from the third step. This line ended in the first quarter of the body and now we extend it to the lower paws and form a rounded tail.
Step 6
In this step, we will draw graceful hind legs with a characteristic bend that forms an obtuse angle on the back surface of the legs. You probably saw something like this in the guide on how to draw a fox.
Step 7
So we continue the drawing guide on how to draw a wolf. Let’s add small details such as the contour of the eye, nose and inner part of the ear.
Step 8
In this step, we will inspect our entire drawing to find all inaccuracies and errors. We evaluate the correct proportions, shapes and postures of our wolf. If there are no inaccuracies in your sketch, you can proceed to the next step.
Step 9
If you are drawing a polar wolf then you should use a light beige color. We draw an ordinary wolf, so a dark gray color would be the best choice.
So we hope that this drawing guide did not cause you any difficulties. We specifically avoided realistic shadows and highlights to make this lesson easier. See you soon!
This wolf drawing was amazing I highly recommend it
