How to Draw a Smurf
- Prepare the base.
First, determine the location of the head and torso. To do this, draw two ovals of different sizes, one of which is located horizontally, and the other is located vertically.
- Add elements of the face.
Draw the round, upturned nose on the side of the upper circle. Draw the eyes in the form of two ovals that are interconnected.
- Depict other elements of the face.
Draw the pupils in the form of two small ovals, outline the contours of the mouth with smooth lines and draw a small crease at the corner of the mouth.
- Sketch out the ears.
The ears are relatively large, round and set low. First draw the outer outline, then add the inner outline of the ear.
- Draw the upper part of the face.
Depict a straight line from the ear to the forehead. At the top, add a few short, curved strokes, so you will depict slightly raised eyebrows.
- Sketch out the hat.
Smurf’s hat looks like the cap, the end of which is bent and turned towards the front of the head. Use smooth, curved lines to draw the hat.
- Depict the hands.
From the head, draw small straight lines to the sides and add parallel lines to depict the thickness of the arms.
- Add the hands.
Smurf has large palms that are turned in opposite directions. Depict the fingers on the hands in the same position as in the example, then add the folds on the palm.
- Draw the legs.
On the stomach, draw a smooth curved line, mark the upper contour of the pants. Below, add curved lines to depict half-bent knees.
- Depict the lower parts of the legs.

- Correct inaccuracies.
